Hi You know I really fancy how you've broken out from just the photographs and have really progressed with the manipulation. This is much more like a traditional painting in a way. I love the texture and tone you've given it. And that's one gorgeous feather. I really like the conrast of it compared to her face. And the old scratched look is great

I still do photography, it is how i make my living, but I enjoy this, it is my hobby. I am glad I have at least you to enjoy it.

Yeh, I know that photography will always be your thing. But it's nice to see how you've progressed with this hobby of yours. I remember seeing just photographs in your gallery and then you began to take your work and develop it into something else. And you're making good progress I wish other people would comment or critique for you since it takes me ages to get to them hehe Plus it would be good for you to get some feedback on how to improve, yes?

yah , i guess... nobody say anything about my photos except "wow" or something like that, and I have only been doing PS for about 3 years now and photography for 20 years. boh , i don't know, maybe I should do anie or whatever it is called, you know the crap that is popular with the kids.
when I first came on DA there was lots of people doing what I am trying to do in PS , but not so much anymore, I wonder where they went, I guess they got sick of what has happen here.

DA has indeed changed quite a bit since back in the day. You're right, there were a lot of people who were doing the same thing you're doing. I know a few that just got sick of it. I know I just stick around to my own collection of artists. I rarely ever wander to the front page.
